ATEEZ (에이 티즈) é um grupo de 8 membros da KQ Entertainment. O grupo consiste em: Hongjoong, Seonghwa, Yunho, Yeosang, San, Mingi, Wooyoung e Jongho. Eles estrearam em 24 de outubro de 2018 com as canções 'Treasure' e 'Pirate King'. Em 8 de julho de 2019, a ATEEZ assinou contrato com a gravadora dos EUA RCA Records.
Antes de sua estréia, Ateez era chamado de KQ Fellaz. Em 18 de maio de 2018, a KQ Entertainment lançou o vídeo no YouTube "KQ Fellaz Performance Video I", que apresentava a performance de dança dos futuros membros do Ateez com a música " Pick It Up " do rapper Famous Dex. KQ Fellaz lançou o single "From" em 3 de julho de 2018, composto e produzido por Hongjoong. Após a conclusão da série, a KQ Entertainment anunciou um reality show KQ Fellaz em 26 de junho de 2018, com um conjunto de três teasers. O segundo teaser foi lançado em 3 de julho e revelou o nome oficial do grupo: Ateez, e o título do show: Code Name is Ateez. O programa estreou na mídia de transmissão coreana Mnet em 20 de julho.
Em 2 de outubro de 2018, por meio de seu SNS oficial, Ateez anunciou que sua data de estreia seria 24 de outubro no Yes24 Livehall, e começou a enviar fotos teaser de 8 a 23 de outubro. Em 24 de outubro de 2018, Ateez lançou sua estreia EP , Treasure EP.1: All to Zero. Junto com o lançamento do álbum estavam os videoclipes das faixas-título, "Pirate King" e "Treasure". O álbum alcançou a 7ª posição no Gaon Albums Chart , vendendo 23.644 cópias em 2018.
